oh thank you! I find it hard to pull off the cartoony-look, and am marveled by those who can! It really makes me happy that people like the natural look I try to create. The parka was actually pretty simple! Just be patient when sewing and pining it.
The material is a corduroy/cotton blend and then lined with Jersey (its very warm!) Then the fur is a faux fur... for the shoulders its sandwiched between the shirt and sleeve parts. takes a lot of pinning and patience when sewing. Then with the hoodie, used a top stitch in white, just because the fur is so thick but you can hide it with white thread. The trim on the arms was just something I found, fell in love with it! And the circle de-cal on the collar is a wooden button, with a wooden flat circle glued ontop. Hope that helps! I keep saying I'll do a tutorial and I promise it will be up after Katsucon next weekend!
^^ Thank youu! I still have remains of the fabrics left, so I'll putting some close-ups of the fabric so you get a sense of the textures used. I hope it helps! This is a fun costume to make
My friend, the photographer, actually did all of the FX! This photo concept was all her. Glad I could help! I placed her DA name in the details. She has some amazing work
